Terms of Service
Last updated · 2026-05-19
By using FreeVideoToGif (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
FreeVideoToGif converts video files to GIF format using browser-based WebAssembly. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, as-is and without warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, or violates the rights of others.
- Process content that depicts minors in inappropriate ways or violates child-protection laws.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, or circumvent the technical operation of the Service.
- Use automated systems to scrape, abuse, or overload the Service.
Your content
You retain all rights to the video and image content you process. Because conversion happens entirely in your browser, we never receive, store, or gain access to your files.
You are solely responsible for the content you process and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of conversion output, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of FreeVideoToGif shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Third-party services
The Service may include or link to third-party services (such as Cloudflare, jsDelivr, or Google AdSense). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you interact with them.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
